The highest content found in Arabica coffee beans is caffeine and chlorogenic acid as antioxidants where chlorogenic acid is a drug to control glucose. Endophytic bacteria are microbes that live in plant tissue and are able to form colonies without causing detrimental effects to A bacterium is categorized as endophytic if at least one phase of its life cycle occurs and replicates in plant tissue. The purpose of this study was to isolate endophytic bacteria from green Arabica coffee beans (Coffea arabica L.) and analyze the levels of chlorogenic acid. The method for analyzing chlorogenic acid is using HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography) with a mobile phase of 1% acetic acid: methanol (60:40). Based on the results of the study, one bacterial isolate was obtained from Arabica coffee beans and had a chlorogenic acid content of 3.8730%. So it was concluded that the isolate from Arabica coffee beans contained chlorogenic acid.
